Absolute tracker Leica AT402

The Leica AT402 Absolute Tracker is a portable CMM that allows you to perform measurements with the highest accuracy over extremely long distances. The power supply of the device is provided by its own battery, the device can be operated in the most difficult environmental conditions, while maintaining the highest level of accuracy and an almost unlimited scope of application.

In our work, we use the Leica AT402 absolute laser tracker to perform 90% of tasks.

Laser trackers allow to achieve an accuracy of the order of 0.010-0.015 mm in the measuring space of the shop Ø10-160 m.

These devices are designed for high-precision measurement of large-sized objects of complex shape. The laser tracker implements a polar method for determining coordinates, i.e. the horizontal and vertical angles and the inclined distance to the reflector mounted on the object are measured, and XYZ coordinates are calculated from these data.

Currently, the most mobile device of this class is the absolute laser tracker Leica AT40x. The maximum error (3σ) of the absolute rangefinder of this device is 0.01 mm, and the accuracy of the angle sensors of the vertical and horizontal circle is only 0.5 seconds.
